Marta Valpiani Rosso is a Romagna Doc, always and only from Sangiovese grapes.
It is the "classic" of the company, and comes from the assembly of the vines usually located on the south side of Bagnolo, with red and limestone clays interspersed with veins of yellow sand, which come from the Casalino alto and Casalinetto farms, located respectively to the east and northeast at 250 meters.
In the 2017 vintage, the hottest from 1999 to today, the choice was made to make wine as always, each parcel separately; however, having lost 70 to 80% of grapes, first for the late frosts and then for the heat, it was decided to go out only with classic red, giving up both "LaFarfalla" and the "Crete Azzurre".
